Yoga East Rand is a private studio with each session/class comprises of breathing, physical practice and meditation.

Breathing (Prāṇāyāma)

Breathing exercises can help you relax, because they make your body feel like it does when you are already relaxed. Deep breathing is one of the best ways to lower stress in the body.

Physical Practice (Āśana)

The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone.

Hatha and Vinyasa yoga incorporate many of the same poses. The main difference is the pacing of the classes. Vinyasa moves at a regular pace and requires greater breathing control. Hatha yoga is done slower and poses are held for longer, Hatha yoga allows for more stretching.

Meditation (dhyai)

Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. And these benefits don’t end when your meditation session ends. Meditation can help carry you more calmly through your day
